Studio Blood
On April 16th 2023 my life's work went up in smoke. Probably from lithium batteries but we'll never know.
At least everyone with a heartbeat was saved along with my ability and urge to create a new. I salvaged the charcoal and made ink out of it that I call 'studio blood'.
I was only able to create Rorschach images - everything being so raw. So I created a series called 'make your mark' The first actions of creating once again. I made Christmas cards and notebooks to hand out. A friend organized a fundraiser for me as I had no insurance and lost everything - many thanks for everyone's support.
